  1. What is the legal age to get married in CA?

    2. In CA, you must be over 18 years old to get married.

  2. Do you marry minors or couples under 18 years old?

    3. No, we don’t. (Please call the County Clerk for more information)

  3. What type of documents do you require for the civil wedding?

    4. One valid government issued photo I.D. from any country. (Passport,  State ID or Driver License)
    If you or your fiancé was married before, we’ll also need the divorce certificate.

  4. Do we have to purchase the Marriage License first at County Clerk?

    5. No, we have Marriage Licenses in house; so you don’t need to go there to get it.

  5. What proof or document do we receive on the wedding day?

    6. You will receive a Certified Customer Copy of the Marriage License, issued by the County Clerk and signed by our notary and minister.

  6. Can I get more than one Marriage Certificate?

    7. Yes, you can request as many Marriage Certificates as you want, we only charge US$ 20 per certificate.

  7. How soon can I get the Marriage Certificate?

    8. The County Clerk will mail your Marriage Certificate directly to you 8~12 weeks after the date of marriage.

  8. Can I get my Marriage Certificate rushed?

    9. Yes, with US$ 50 we can offer you our express service, so you’ll get your Marriage Certificate in 4~6 weeks after the date of marriage.

  9. Do we need to bring witnesses?

    10. No, you don’t need witnesses to be married in California.
    In case you have already purchased your own public Marriage License at the County Clerk, you’ll have to bring 2 witnesses.

  10. If I get the Marriage License from you, can I have my wedding cerremony somewhere else?

    11. Yes, you can. After both of you sign the marriage license & have a legal quick "I-Do" ceremony, then you can have your big wedding ceremony anywhere.

  11. What about the blood test?

    12. In CA, you don’t need the blood test to be married.

  12. With how many weeks in advance should we book our wedding in your chapel?

    13. In order to get the best date and time, you should book your wedding with 8 weeks in advance. But if your wedding date is within the next 8 weeks, please contact us for availability.

  13. Do we have to pay the full amount when we make our wedding reservation?

    14. No, we just ask for 50% down when you make your wedding reservation and the balance should be paid one week before the wedding date.

  14. Do you give any kind of discount?

    15. Yes, if you or your fiancé is Senior Citizen or from the Armed Forces, you can get our special discount of US$ 20.

  15. How many people can your chapel holds?

    16. Maximum capacity of our chapel is 40 people.

  16. What type of ceremonies do you perform?

    17. We do perform the non-denominational ceremonies and religious ceremonies. 

  17. What is the difference between the non-denominational ceremony and the religious ceremonies?

    18. Non-denominational ceremony – Our wedding officiant will talk and explain the meaning of love, the importance of marriage, the responsibilities of husband/wife and perform the ring ceremony.         

    Religious Ceremony – Our minister will perform the nuptial blessing ceremony, the ring ceremony, the arras (coins) ceremony, the lazo (cord) ceremony and the unity candle ceremony.    

  18. Can I bring my own wedding officiant?             

    19. Yes, you are allowed to bring your own pastor, minister, reverend, priest, etc. (at no extra charge).                  

  19. Do you only perform ceremonies in English?

    20. No, we also perform ceremonies in Spanish and Bilingual ceremonies 
    (English/Spanish)

  20. How long the ceremony last?

    21. 30 ~ 40 minutes approx. All depend on what type of ceremony you choose.

  21. Do you host receptions?

    22. No, we don’t. But we can refer you lot of nice places to have your wedding receptions. (please check the Reception Page)

  22. Can we change our wedding date or wedding time?

    23.  Yes, for only US$25 additional, we can reschedule your wedding date or wedding time.

  23. And can we cancel our wedding plan?

    24. The deposit is non-refundable, but you have up to 6 months from the original wedding date to reschedule your wedding.
